Symplicity today released the summer update of Community, an all-inclusive and highly intuitive cloud-based platform designed for universities, students and organizations to manage and track all facets of student involvement on campus.
New features added to the Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) tool are among the major highlights in the update. Managers and students now have access to an Awards and Recognition section, which permits students to upload their accolades to their transcripts, and allows managers to set and lock learning goals so that they are consistent for every student.
Several new capabilities in the Events module were also introduced. Managers are now able to create events with hosts, use guest registration forms, copy from previously submitted events and more, providing users easy and customizable event registration options. A new add-on now allows for advanced event registration, which enables managers to add unique fields to the registration form and collect information for both the registrant and attendee.
Other noteworthy features of the update include a more modern manager interface, a Login As feature for user troubleshooting, and a rotating sponsor feature, which lets managers to advertise events, promote deadlines, and post other announcements on the student interface.
