Job Posting
How do I view my posting at the university’s website?

The convenience of a multi-university post ensures that you do not need to log in at each individual university to view your posting. During the posting process, you are able to preview how your job will appear to students. After purchase, your posting will be automatically distributed to your targeted universities.

If a university chooses not to post your position, you will see this information on the job profile after logging in to your CareerHub Central account.

How do I edit my posting?

To edit your posting, contact CareerHub Central Support.

Can I edit how long applicants are accepted to a posting?

Employers can withdraw a posting to immediately close the job to all universities targeted while posting the job.

Otherwise, your posting may be live for as long as a total of 37 days. CareerHub Central jobs are designed to post for 30 days and are subject to university approval. Because some universities can take a few days to review a posting, our system adds a 7 day grace period on top of the default 30 day window.

How do I post a job to my connected universities?

When you initiate a job posting and fill out your job details, you will advance to the next step allowing you to target candidates from particular universities of interest. At this time you will be presented with the option to target candidates at connected universities at the top of the page. Once selected, we will give you the opportunity to review and make adjustments if required; otherwise, you job will be targeted to all of your connected universities.

How do I connect to universities?

Once you are logged in to CareerHub Central, you can research universities and the CareerHub Central features available on a per university basis by selecting from the navigation bar. From there, you can view universities you have already added on the Connected Universities tab, and universities you may like to add in the future on the All Universities tab. To add a university, simply look for the Connect option in the All Universities listing or if you are on the university’s profile page, click the Connect button. After requesting to add the university, the school may be listed as Connection Pending. The university will be alerted to your request and will have the opportunity to review your request for access to recruiting features. Once a decision has been made by the university, you will be alerted to the status of recruiting features in CareerHub Central.

Can I add more university connections later?

Yes, you can research universities and the CareerHub Central features available on a per university basis by selecting from the navigation bar.  On the Universities list, you can view universities you have already added and universities you may like to add in the future. To add a university, simply look for the Connect option in the university listing or if you are on the university’s profile page, click the Connect button.

Why aren’t recruiting features active at my universities?

In order for your recruiting features to be activated, the career services departments at your universities must approve your account. This can cause a delay between when you request the connection, and when your access is fully activated. While your connection to a university is awaiting approval, the university will be listed as Connection Pending from the All Universities list.

My request for specific features has been declined by a university. What can I do?

If you do not gain access to some of the features at one of your connected universities, we suggest you reach out to the university directly to see if there is a possibility of gaining access to the feature of interest.

Can I deactivate a connected university?

Yes, you can deactivate any of your university connections from the Connected Universities list, All Universities list, or from the university’s profile. Please note that although CareerHub Central will not send you updates for a deactivated university connection, you will still have an account with the university and may still receive correspondence or outreach directly from the university.  If you would like to resume using CareerHub Central to recruit from a deactivated university, you may reactivate the university connection at any time.
